Retention initiative gains mild traction

According to Provost Pamela Gunter-Smith, however, that figure is incorrect and the University does not have poor retention. Celebrated professor retires from Drew

An era is coming to an end at Drew University. Professor of History John Perry Leavell, who has been a member of the Drew faculty for 41 years, is retiring this year. Leavell joined the Drew faculty in 1967 after receiving his doctorate from Tulane University.
