The women's soccer team had a tough game against Moravian on Saturday. The Rangers could not find the back of the net, and now find themselves out of the Landmark Conference playoffs. Moravian, on the other hand, clinched first place in the conference with the 2-0 win.
For many, the parallels between sports and politics may be hard to perceive. In actuality, sports and the presidency have been linked in America since the inception of our nation. Unless you have locked yourself in your dorm with the internet cord pulled and the cable cut off, I am assuming everyone here is aware that we have a winner for president of our United States of America.
Drew University field hockey got its much-needed conference win this past Saturday against Moravian. The team pulled out a 2-1 victory and the goals were scored by Meghan Howlett ('12) and Lizz Law ('10), both assisted by Nicole DiBattista ('10). The must-win game resulted in a lose-lose situation for the Drew Rangers.
The Drew University cross country teams' season came to an end last Saturday at Juniata College. The 2.5 km course of Fort Roberdeau, which utilized the wooded trails and open fields of the area, set the stage for the Landmark Conference Championships.
