This week, The Acorn ventured onto the Simon Forum basketball courts to discover how the average Drewid stays in shape even when the temperature drops. We asked Michael Staron ('09) to take a few minutes from a pick-up game to give us his work-out plan.

Acorn: How regularly can you be found here at the gym or on the courts?
Michael Staron: I play basketball and lift weights five days a week, never on the weekends.

Acorn: Do you play any sports besides basketball?
Michael Staron: I played in the table tennis tournament recently. I also play intramural football for 'All-State.'

Acorn: Which muscles are you looking to work on in particular?
Michael Staron: In the gym, I focus on my upper body, my abs, legs, lower body… essentially everything. I play basketball just to stay in shape and have fun.
