It costs as much as a loft in Hoboken, yet it has neither a kitchen nor private bathroom. It can feel like a cinderblock cell, the poster section of Newbury comics, page 11 of Pottery Barn Teen, or somewhere delightfully in between. It is your dorm room, and, neat and tidy or in utter squalor, it reflects and affects a decent amount of your campus experience. The Acorn staff scouted out unique living spaces.

Name: Lionel Camacho ('09)

Residence: Asbury 1st (La Casa Latina)

The Acorn: Wow, it looks like you are living with a large wire-hanger based roommate.

Camacho: This is something I made in sculpture class last year. It is supposed to represent a venus fly-trap that is opening.

A: Your room is where you keep your art?

C: I'm an art major focusing in sculpture. Having art in my room makes me feel proud. People ask me about the sculptures, and it's a good way to promote what I do.

A: Where are the sculptures you can't fit in your single?

C: I make art for other people's rooms-you can find some of it on this floor. I use my room as the main exhibit of my artwork.
