On Monday, The Alliance held a lecture by guest speaker David Jay, who is the creator of the Asexual Visibility & Education Network. The website is an online community with resources about asexuality. About 30 people attended the lecture, which was held in University Center room 107. According to asexuality.org, "Asexual people have the same emotional needs as everybody else and are just as capable of forming intimate relationships." However, in relationships, persons who are asexual feel no desire to be with any person sexually.
